Jeannie Brown Johnson

“AQUA POWER TO THE PEOPLE!” is my motto; and I incorporate it into every aspect of life.   From 22 years dedicated to working in radio, television, and film,  to starting an award winning, freelance voice-over & production company, to currently directing Howard University’s aquatic outreach for students and faculty. I’ve been a competitive swimmer, teacher and ‘aqua girl’ through it all.

Simply put, I LOVE what I do; and I enjoy sharing my passion for aquatics with everyone I meet.  Whether it’s challenging DC’s elite at high profile clubs like Sports Club/LA,VIDA Fitness, and Waterside Fitness and Swim, keeping mobile seniors fit for the DC Department of Recreation, YMCA, LG Total Fitness, H2O Fitness, helping mainstream physical therapy patients back into exercise regimens through hospital wellness center aquatic programs, taking college students on the journey from non-swimmer to swimmer, sharing knowledge and providing continuing education credits with other aqua professionals at international and regional conferences, workshops and via published articles, or helping clients experience swimming in alternative ways with Aqua VisionQuest Destination Retreats. I always enjoy spreading the benefits of aquatic exercise wherever I go.

Challenge yourself & reap the rewards. See ya’ in the pool!
