The workshops that we offer are outlined below.  We can also custom design workshops specifically for your event and audience.

Get Your Deep On! (Deep Water)

Get your deep on while the instructor demonstrates creative deep water aquatic combinations that are fun and challenging in making traditional aquatic exercises interesting for beginners to advanced participants!  With the use of buoyancy belts and webbed gloves participants will focus on innovative deep water kickboxing moves!  Using various hand patterns, teachable instruction enables participants to instruct classes with a mixture of combinations!  Excite your classes with cutting edge moves in a deep water environment!

Learning Objectives

  2. Challenge beginner students to intermediate and advance levels
  3. Increase knowledge of logical progressions to more advanced combinations
  4. Maintain strength and stability
  5. Execute deep water kickboxing moves safely

Aqua Kickboxing (Shallow Water)

This workshop is designed to assist the aqua fitness instructor with the basic tools needed to gain knowledge about different types of kickboxing base movements and increase their knowledge of the logical progression to more advanced 32 count combinations.  This workshop will focus on innovative and challenging choreography using traditional kickboxing moves with easy teachable blocks.  Kicking and punching combinations are taught with correct posture and functional range of motion.  We will take a look at the variations/adaptations when executing moves in an aquatic setting.

Learning Objectives

  1. Add on choreography: How to build patterns gradually
  2. Layer Technique: Patterns that can be repeated using various styles
  3. Pyramid Choreography: Repetitions for each move gradually decreased and/or increased
  4. Freestyle Choreography: Moves performed without setting predictable patterns
  5. Teach participants how to put their own flavor or trademark on choreography

Olympic Challenge (Shallow/Deep Water)

This practical water workout teaches participants the art of emphasizing correct upper body posture and form while using core muscle strength to balance the body vertically on the noodles.  Total body strength is used while kick boxing with spa bells to add challenging trunk moves!!  Participants will “stick it” in deep water during water polo drills followed by a complete water polo class!  You’ll literally be exercising your way around the pool (with or without resistance equipment) to cool rhythmic beats!

Learning Objectives

  1. Emphasize correct upper body posture and form using core muscle strength
  2. Balance the lower body’s performance by challenging trunk move
  3. Use basic tools to develop different types of kickboxing moves
  4. Increase knowledge of logical progressions to advanced combinations
  5. Learn water polo drills

Not Your Average Total Body Conditioning (Shallow/Deep Water)

Get ripped with this shallow/deep water total body conditioning using noodles, ankle cuffs and spa bells.  Participants will learn innovative ways to incorporate spa bells, ankle cuffs and noodles to sculpt abs, glutes, arms and legs!

CUE & “A”(qua)  (Shallow Water)

CUE & “A” (qua) your way to teaching better aqua aerobics classes with some helpful hints and tools of the trade.  Save your sanity, voice and body by cueing more efficiently and effectively.

Learning Objectives

  1. Decipher what cueing is
  2. Increase knowledge of types of cueing methods
  3. Identify your best cueing style
  4. Learn what cueing method works best for your student population(s)

Body Sculpt  ‘Strength Training and Toning (Shallow Water)

Registrants will learn to create aquatic strength toning/body sculpting combinations for major muscle groups in the upper and lower body.  Equipment can be used for added resistance.  Each demonstration of combined body parts will take 10 minutes.

Learning Objectives

  1. Correct upper body posture and form
  2. Core muscle strength
  3. Resistance equipment variations
  4. Lower body performance of challenging moves
  5. Various levels of challenging strength

Equipment: Gloves, Noodles, Bells, Spri Bands (Optional)

Advanced Chorography (Shallow Water)

This practical water workout will teach participants the art of the ‘aqua jam’…emphasizing correct upper body posture and form, using core muscle strength to balance the lower body’s performance of challenging and graceful trunk moves …you’ll literally be dancing your way around the pool to cool rhythmic beats!

Fun land based choreographed moves done in a line!  Whatever your preference, whether it’s line dancing, belly dancing, hand dancing, stepping, swing dancing, ballroom dancing, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, square dancing,   popping or modern dance –  a healthier lifestyle awaits!  See you on the LINE!
